Restoring old hardware and pieces in Inca
In the old houses of Inca and the Raiguer there is hardware, windows and furniture that have survived decades and only need someone to treat them properly. Restoring is usually better than replacing: the character of the piece and the house is kept.
What we restore
Forged hardware such as hinges, bolts and handles, old wooden windows and furniture. Before touching anything we look at what can be kept and what has to be remade.
Preserve, don't fully renew
The goal is for the piece to still look old, not to look new. We keep the honest wear and replace only what no longer does its job.
If a piece is missing, we make it
When a piece of hardware is missing or too damaged, we make a hand-forged replica from the original or from a photo with measurements.
